Raise Funds for the Restoration - by Keeping Warm during Winter!

Log sales over the 2009/10 winter period turned out to be a really good way to raise funds for the restoration.

Sales will resume in October, subject only to sufficient supplies of wood being available.

There is a discount for CCT members. Non members can join the Cotswold Canals Trust to qualify for the lesser price; follow this link to download a Membership Application form that, once completed, should be forwarded to the Membership Secretary.

The discount will be available once a Membership Application has been signed with the Banker's Order option taken for the annual subscription.

*There is a free local delivery service available within an approximate 15-mile radius of the Trust's Western Depot at Eastington. For deliveries beyond this arbitrary boundary a charge per additional mile will be considered.

Options 1, 2 and 4 will contain a proportion of willow as this is the predominant tree found along and around the canal.

The logs need to be left to their own devices for a while before burning as some may be unseasoned.

The wood is ideally suited for burning on multi fuel stoves but is also suitable for particularly well guarded open fires.

Average log length is around 9/10 inches (23/25cm).

For a wholly discretionary donation the Delivery Team will even stack the logs for you ......

Payment is sought at the time of the mutually agreed delivery, please, and credit/debit cards are the preferred method of settlement.

Please bear in mind the log preparation process can be weather, time and manpower dependent, so there may be short delays at busy periods.

If you would like to join the growing list of satisfied customers then you can email logs@well-springs.co.uk with your name, full address, phone number(s) and proposed order - or give the Logman a ring on 01452 505322.
